The charges lie anywhere around 100K Rupiah ($7 USD) but are quite negotiable. 

More so, herein you’ll find two swing options. First is the thatch ‘birdhouse’ where you can just sit and click pictures. The other one is the traditional swing set with proper ropes tied between two palm trees. While some may be wary of such tourist photo props, the Diamond Beach swing is often considered an exception, all thanks to its stunning backdrop.

Entrance Fees 

As of 2024, the entrance fee for Diamond Beach is 35k IDR, with an additional 5k IDR for parking. Earlier these charges were included as free as part of the tourist ticket that you purchase while entering Nusa Penida island. But now, they’ve put up a separate ticket charge that you’ll need to pay to enter the beach

How to Get to Diamond Beach

The beach is located on the southeast side of Nusa Penida island, about an hour’s drive from the main docks and main accommodations in northern Nusa Penida.

If you’re planning to visit Diamond Beach from Nusa Penida itself, it’s best to travel by car or scooter. However, be cautious when driving, as the road can be rough and challenging in some areas. Hence, drive slowly and maintain your speed.

Where to Stay

If you’re looking for accommodation near Diamond Beach, you’ll find several options available on and around the Nusa Penida island. 

However, if you are looking for some cheaper options, I’d personally recommend the Saren Villa situated on the North Coast of Nusa Penida. I paid just 240K Rupiah ($15 USD) for a private room equipped with AC, a hot shower, and strong WiFi connectivity. 

Other popular accommodation options include Hotel Smyrlabjorg, Hotel Skaftafell, Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon, and Hali Country Hotel. These accommodations offer a range of amenities and are located within easy reach of the beach.
